3D laser vision system consists of vision sensor, IPC and vision software. With the cooperation of industrial robots, the functions of processing guidance, feature recognition, target location, three-dimensional reconstruction, geometric measurement and quality detection can be realized. The self-developed visual software integrates professional visual processing algorithms. It is the core of the system and has powerful data processing ability.
3D laser vision system can measure the workpiece with high precision. Because of its non-contact measurement characteristics, it can complete some spatial dimension measurements which are difficult to complete in contact measurement. Meanwhile the measurement efficiency is higher.
Based on 3D laser vision system, on-line measurement can be used to guide robot’s execution end to process or weld. The vision system is located in front of the execution end. It is used to collects, calculates and feeds back the parameters from process area and weld area in real time.
3D laser vision system can track the robot's execution end in real time and obtain its spatial position and angle. By comparing the off-line trajectory with the real trajectory, calculate the execution deviation and send the corrected trajectory information to the robot, so as to realize the real-time correction of the trajectory and ensure the accuracy of the robot's execution end.
According to the technological requirements, the target features are searched and recognized actively. After the spatial positioning is finished, the complete geometric information is transformed into coordinate system and sent to the executing device to complete the follow-up operation.
Based on 3D laser vision system, it can complete the independent path planning, scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction of irregular shape workpiece. Restore the real geometric features of workpiece in software, so as to provide real and reliable original data for model comparison, quality inspection and other follow-up work.
The surface of welding, casting and machining are scanned continuously by 3D laser vision scanning system. The surface three-dimensional data are obtained and analyzed. Finally, the quality inspection report is generated and the workpiece is judged to be qualified.
